I discovered this wonderfully delicious brownie recipe a few years ago and have probably cooked it at least 100 times since. This was requested by my dear friend Beth, and so I have posted it in her honor. You can keep them as they are or add nuts or raspberries. It’s your choice.
Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies
200g butter, chopped
200g dark cooking chocolate
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup gluten-free plain flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius.
2. Line 18cm square cake pan with non-stick baking paper.
3. Melt butter, chocolate and sugar in microwave or saucepan, stirring so as not to burn. Cool slightly.
4.Add eggs and vanilla to chocolate mixture, then sifted flour and cocoa. Mix well.
5. Pour into pan, and bake for 40min or until set. YUM!
Mr McDonald’s remark… “mmm…delicious”.
